7:45 p.m. Friday — Wayne Korenich, 45, and Dawn Korenich, 51, both of Portersville, were charged with retail theft and conspiracy for allegedly shoplifting items at the Wal-Mart store, Butler Commons.

2:54 a.m. today — Janet Rykal, 36, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Wayne and Main streets in Butler.10:55 p.m. Tuesday — An unidentified white Chevrolet pickup truck or Blazer struck a truck towing a boat on a trailer but did not stop following the crash on Leisie Road in Forward Township. William Parenti, 58, no age given, was driving the truck struck in the crash.3:48 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Christine Oviatt, 19, of Slippery Rock struck a dog that had run onto Interstate 79 in Worth Township; the car then went off the road and hit a guardrail.10 p.m. Sunday — Basil Luchkiw, 49, of Butler told police he was sucker punched by an unknown person as he left the T-Bar at Clearfield and Herman roads in Clearfield Township. Luchkiw suffered minor injuries. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.4:10 a.m. June 17 — Gary Kretzler, no age given, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Third and Pillow streets in Butler.11:05 a.m. June 11 — A car driven by Kevin Reynolds, 37, of Butler struck a utility pole along Route 488 in Muddy Creek Township. Reynolds, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. Tony Bish, 17, of St. Petersburg, Clarion County, a passenger in the car, suffered moderate injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt. Police cited Reynolds for an undisclosed traffic violation.
