Koontz, Baptiste
Heidi Koontz of Raleigh, N.C., and Dustin Baptiste of Elizabethtown, N.C., were united in marriage at 2 p.m. April 8 at St. Raphael Roman Catholic Church in Raleigh. Monsignor Gerald Lewis officiated.
The bride is the daughter of James and Kathy Koontz of Raleigh. Parents of the bridegroom are Leonard and Eleanor Baptiste of Elizabethtown, formerly of Butler. He is also the grandson of Stella Lucas of Butler.
The maid of honor was Ashley Phillips of Raleigh. Bridesmaids included the groom's sister, Autumn Baptiste of Elizabethtown, and Jennifer Talton and Tonya Watts, both of Raleigh. The flower girl was Savannah Clark of Raleigh.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Marlin Lewis of Raleigh. Groomsmen included Matthew Felton of Wilson, N.C.; Josh Lambert of Raleigh; and Sherwin Grainger of Trinidad.
Following a honeymoon trip to Key West, Cozumel and Belize, the couple is making their home in Raleigh.
