9 p.m. Sunday — Erick E. Hortert Jr. of Butler reported that his parked car was hit on Franklin Street between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.1:03 a.m. Saturday — Raylene Michael, 24, of Butler was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and careless driving following a traffic stop on Pittsburgh Road.7:52 p.m. Friday — Kenneth Kisner of Butler reported that his parked car was hit at his West New Castle Street residence between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. The other vehicle left black paint on the driver's side of Kisner's vehicle.4:50 p.m. Friday — A motorhome driven by Jesse Fehl Jr., 77, of Prospect was traveling on East Wayne Street when it struck the driver's side of a parked car owned by Brenda Stitt of Chicora.6:14 a.m. Friday — Frank A. Grippo, 40, of Butler was arrested for simple assault after his live-in girlfriend, Rebecca Bindernagel, 30, received treatment for injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital. During an incident in the couple's second-floor apartment at 219 Fairview Ave., Grippo allegedly threw a coffee mug at Bindernagel, cutting her forehead, and then kicked her in the shin. Grippo was placed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.1:57 a.m. Thursday — Gary J. Austic, 37, of Emlenton was arrested for retail theft, criminal conspiracy and two outstanding warrants from Butler County after he and another man allegedly stole a bag of chocolate and a pop can from the Dollar Store. He was placed in Butler County Prison.3:10 p.m. June 18 — A gray, blue-striped full-size conversion van struck the driver's side of a parked car owned by Rosann Skal on East Walnut Street.

2 a.m. Sunday — Michael Conner, 38, of Fenelton was charged with burglary after he allegedly entered the Clearfield Township residence of Beth Hildebrand at 125 Dalmagro Road. Conner was placed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bond.9:45 p.m. Saturday — A van driven by Daniel Patterson, 41, of Butler was traveling on Route 308 in Clay Township when it went over an embankment. Patterson was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.2 a.m. Saturday — Michael Lassinger, 42, of Brackenridge reported a hit-and-run accident in which an unknown vehicle struck his truck while it was parked on County Line Road in Clearfield Township between 10 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday.8:30 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Donald Weiland, 62, of Fenelton and a Jeep driven by Stephen Montebello, 22, of Kittanning collided on Route 422 in Summit Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Weiland was cited for not driving at a safe speed. Montebello was cited for a registration violation.1:30 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Debra Kovalcik, 53, of Saxonburg and a 16-year-old Karns City male who police did not identify collided on Route 308 in Clay Township. Both drivers wore seat belts. Kovalcik was taken by Butler EMS to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. State police were assisted by the West Sunbury Volunteer Fire Department.3:45 p.m. Wednesday — Machel C. McIntosh, 18, of Pittsburgh was arrested for drug possession following a traffic stop at the intersection of Main and Jefferson streets in Butler. Police seized 46 bags of crack cocaine and 15 baggies of heroin. McIntosh was placed in Butler County Prison on a $25,000 bond.9 p.m. June 18 — Carolyn Wilkinson, 60, of Pittsburgh reported a wedding album stolen from her vehicle somewhere between East Butler and Pittsburgh. Anyone with information about the album should call state police at 724-284-8100.2:38 June 18 — A car driven by Michael Cress, 33, of Butler was traveling on Route 268 in Fairview Township when it struck an embankment. Cress received moderate injuries while his passenger, Candace Cady, 23, of Butler was injured with a compound fracture to her right leg. Both were wearing seat belts. Cady was flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital. Police were assisted at the scene by the Petrolia and Chicora volunteer fire departments.11:50 a.m. June 17 — A car driven by Shane Dilling, age unavailable, of Boyers was traveling on Route 4012 in Marion Township when it hit an embankment. He was wearing a seat. Dilling was cited for not driving a vehicle at a safe speed.5:24 p.m. June 6 — Fermin Cruz, age unavailable, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Mercer Road in Center Township.

8 p.m. Saturday — A truck driven by Alexander Allessio, 20, of Grove City and a car driven by Michael Potter, 28, of Lancaster collided on Route 58 in Findley Township. Following the head-on collision, both drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles. Allessio was trapped for about an hour while Potter was trapped for nearly two hours. Allessio was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh while Potter was flown to St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio. Allessio was not wearing a seat belt. Potter was wearing a seat belt. Both vehicles' air bags deployed. Allessio was cited for not driving on the right side of the road. Police said speed was a factor in the accident.4:29 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by a Grove City male juvenile, age unknown, was traveling on Tower Road in Springfield Township when it struck a tree and rolled onto the driver's side. The driver and two other male juveniles were taken by ambulance to Grove City Medical Center. The driver and one passenger, both of whom received minor injuries, were wearing seat belts. The second passenger was not wearing a seat belt and received moderate injuries. He was flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital.7:15 p.m. Tuesday — Nancy Norris, age unavailable, of Grove City reported the theft of her mailbox and post from her residence at 1104 Clintonville Road between 4:30 and 7:15 p.m.June 19 — Oak Hill Cemetery reported an unknown vehicle drove through the grass and ran over a headstone between 3 p.m. June 18 and 6:30 a.m. June 19. Several American flags were missing from gravesites. Anyone with information about the vandalism and theft should call state police at 724-662-6162.

6:25 p.m. Friday — Matthew P. Tack, 35, of Worthington was charged with simple assault following a domestic dispute. Tack allegedly grabbed his wife, Teri Lyn Tack, 32, by the throat and threw her to the ground. During the struggle, Matthew Tack's arm struck his wife's eye. He was arraigned before District Judge James Owen and was released from Armstrong County Prison after posting a $10,000 bond.Thursday — Dale Leroy Hetrick, 50, of Worthington reported the waterlines to his pool were cut and his Hayward Perflex filter system, model EC4575, was stolen from his residence at 331 Ross St. between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. Thursday.June 19 — Robert Ravotti, 57, of Freeport reported the theft of $230 worth of personal items and clothing from his hotel room at the Hampton Inn on Lebanon Road between 1 and 5 p.m. Kittanning state police turned over the investigation to Ephrata state police.

7:06 a.m. Sunday — A Jeep driven by Macrae Conte, age unavailable, and a vehicle driven by Lyle Logue, age unavailable, collided on Route 68 in Piney Township. Both drivers and their passengers were wearing seat belts.
