SLIPPERY ROCK TWP, Lawrence County — A hiking and history program will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McConnells Mill State Park, off Route 422.
The event will include a hike on the Kildoo Trail and a tour of the mill.
Participants should meet at the park's main playground and picnic area. The event will last about 21/2 hours.

BEAVER — AHappy Birthday America celebration and rally for troops will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 1 at the Beaver County Courthouse.The event will feature a patriotic sing-along.
