A new 4-H group, “Kids Crafting Kindness,” is launching in Butler County. It is actively seeking youth members who want to combine creativity with community service.

The group focuses on hands-on crafting projects designed to spread joy and make a positive impact locally. Members will learn a variety of creative skills, such as painting, paper crafts and seasonal decorations, all while building friendships and participating in traditional 4-H development, according to an email from the club.

The group is open to youth ages 8 to 18 as of Jan. 1. Meetings will take place at 6 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month at the Butler Farm Show, 625 Evans City Road, Connoquenessing Township. No prior crafting experience is required to join.
