Lexie Ann Bauer
Lexie Ann Bauer, lovingly known to all her friends as the Bag Lady, 69, of South McKean Street, Kittanning, died Sunday at the Saxony Health Center Saxonburg.
Born Sept. 29, 1936, in Ford City, she was the daughter of Benjamin F. "Ziggy" Reitler Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Smart Reitler.
She was a member of the Kittanning VFW and the Kittanning Eagles. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and her family.
She is survived by three sons, Kevin Bauer and his wife, Sandra, of Cabot, Keith Bauer of Butler and Kirk Bauer and his wife, Barbara, of Hermitage; a daughter, Mrs. David (Kelly) Adams of Butler; two brothers, Dale L. Reitler of Jacksonville, Fla., and Gary L. Reitler of Saxonburg; and four sisters, Peggy L. Gilliland of Butler, Rosalie Y. Scadden of Templeton, Melissa J. Reitler of Saxonburg and Pamela S. Shaffer and her husband, Rick, of Kittanning R.D. 3.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Rachel and Keith Bauer, Asa and Alexis Adams and Lacy McClandass; and a great- grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin F. Reitler Jr.
