Christ community U.M.A Farewell Sunday in honor of the Rev. Oden and Debbie Warman is scheduled Sunday at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, Butler Township.An all-church picnic will be held after the 10 a.m. Sunday service on the front lawn. Members should call the church office if planning to attend and should take a covered dish to share. The church will provide meat, beverages and table service.

Christ's OutreachWeather permitting, the Saturday contemporary service at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will be held in the yard adjacent to the parking lot. The service begins at 7 p.m.Jim Cavalero will provide music for the 10:30 a.m. service at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., Butler.Asix-week new membership and informational class begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday.The Ministry Motorcycle Bike Run group will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the church parking lot. Covenant PresbyThe Rev. William Jamieson will be the guest speaker for the 10 a.m. Sunday service at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St. Jamieson, a retired Presbyterian minister, served with the Pittsburgh Pastoral Institute.The Sacrament of Baptism will be celebrated during the 10 a.m. Sunday service. Darla Peterson will be the guest soloist at the service.The Youth Group will hold a bake sale after the 10 a.m. Sunday service.

Faith U.P.Members of Faith United Presbyterian Church, 1329 N. Main St. Ext., Center Township, will serve the community dinner from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Wednesday at Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church.

First BaptistFirst Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will host a men's prayer breakfast at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Baptist Youth Center.Members of the Kingdom Seekers Sunday School Class will meet at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the home of Dave and Sandra Rapp for a class social. A wiener roast will follow at 5:30 p.m.The Koinonia Sunday school class will have a game night starting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the home of Mark and Kristin Ort. First English LutheranThere will be no Saturday evening services during July or August at First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St.The migration service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Lutherlyn's Rustic Retreat Center. A lunch will follow the service. The 8:30 a.m. Sunday service will be held at the church.

First U.M.Citywide Praise Band will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St. Areception will follow the performance.

Glade Run U.P.Lifeline screenings will be held Monday at Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 877-792-8480.The Men's Tuesday Morning Bible Study will be on break for the summer. Sessions will resume Aug. 15.

Grace @ Calvary LutheranA men's brunch will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the social hall at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St. Women will be serving. The event is open to men and boys of all ages. The Rev. A potluck dinner will be held at 5 p.m. for those with tickets. Participants should take a covered dish. In case of rain, concert will be in the youth center at the church.

GraceWay CommunityMusic for the 10 a.m. Sunday service at GraceWay Community Church, Center Township Elementary School, Mercer Road, will be provided by Edith McCandless and Amber Crowe.There will be no youth activities Wednesday. The youth will attend the Creation festival Tuesday, through July 1. Tickets to Creation are still available. Members with last names beginning with A-L should take a salad or vegetable; M-Z, a dessert. The Dogwood Pavilion is behind the pool area.

New Life Christian MinistriesA Come Let Us Build update will be part of the 10 a.m. Sunday service at New Life Christian Ministries, Knoch School Auditorium, 345 Knoch Road, Saxonburg.Teams of children, teens and adults will participate in a prayer walk from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Sunday in the Saxonburg area. Participants should meet at 9 a.m. at the flagpole at Knoch Senior High School.Class 101, for persons who wish to learn more about the church and to join the church, will be held at 12:30 p.m. July 23 at The Bridge. Park U.P.The Brazil mission team will be commissioned with a laying of the hands during the Sunday service at Park United Presbyterian Church, 115 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. The group will leave for Manaus, Brazil on July 8.Lisa Thong a missionary to China will speak at the Sunday service.

St. John U.C.C.The annual church picnic of St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St., Evans City, will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at the home of Dave and Sue Ann Jones. The worship service will be followed by games, contests and a tureen luncheon. There will be no early service Sunday.

St. Peter's EpiscopalAmeeting will be held after the 9:30 a.m. Sunday service at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 218 E. St. Richard R.C.Due to vacation Bible school, Masses will be held at 8 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. Monday and Thursday at St. Richard Roman Catholic Church, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia.The Edge Middle School Ministry will hold a bonfire at 8 p.m. June 30. After the bonfire, they will participate in a retreat and lock-in at the church and end with a cook-off on Saturday afternoon.

Summit PresbySummer worship services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sundays at Summit Presbyterian Church, 181 Caldwell Drive.The 9:30 a.m. Sunday service this week will be held at the Christian Community Outreach building, 650 Saxonburg Road (formerly the Jefferson Elementary School). The service will celebrate the close of the vacation Bible school program. Children will share lessons and songs they learned. Apotluck luncheon will follow the service. No services will be held at the church that day. The Matrix Skit Team of the Moniteau Area Youth Group, will lead the service as they share a variety of skits and dramas.Following the outdoor service a picnic will be held. Meat, rolls and beverages will be provided. Participants should take a tureen to share, and their own table service and lawn chairs.

White Oak Springs PresbyThe closing program for vacation Bible school, "Adventures of the Treasure Seekers," will be held at 7:45 p.m. Friday at White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, 102 Shannon Road, Renfrew. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the program.
