Nathaniel Simpson
Nathaniel George Simpson, 91, of Indiana, Pa., died Friday at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
Born April 9, 1915, in Marchand, he was the son of Linus and Binnie Hicks Simpson.
Mr. Simpson attended Marion Center High School and was an engineer for the Operating Engineer Local 66. He was a member of the VFW in Mars and the Rod and Gun Club in Mars and Rochester Mills. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR racing.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Ryen Simpson, whom he married May 17, 1937; two sons, Robert Simpson of Renfrew and Jerry Simpson of Callery; a daughter, Janet Taylor of Lakeland, Fla.; a sister, Berna Ryen of Rochester Mills; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
<B>SIMPSON</B> — Friends of Nathaniel George Simpson, who died Friday, May 19, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home</B>, Indiana, Pa. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Lefdahl Chapel with the Rev. Donald Brauer officiating.
