Magyar, Matoka
Butler residents Stacy Magyar and Stephen Matoka were united in marriage at 2 p.m. May 8 in St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands.
The bride is the daughter Frank Magyar and Donna Magyar, both of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Robert Sr. and Mary Lou Matoka of Pittsburgh.
The honor attendant was Tricia Romett of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was John Famielec of Butler.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Knoch High School. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in criminology through the University of Phoenix and works as a salon manager at Great Clips in Allison Park.
The bridegroom graduated in 1986 from North Allegheny High School and served in the Naval Reserves from 1990 through 1996. He works for Matoka and Sons Plumbing.
Following a honeymoon cruise in the Southern Caribbean, the couple is making their home in Butler.
