Hill, Van Horn
Erin Hill of South Haven, Mich., and Peter Van Horn of Glenn, Mich., were united in marriage at 6 p.m. June 3 at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in South Haven. The Rev. Mark Luscombe officiated. A reception followed at the South Haven Yacht Club.
The bride is the daughter of the late John Jr. and Irene Hill. Parents of the bridegroom are David and Barbara Button of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and the late James Van Horn.
The bride was presented for marriage by her aunt, Nancy Pierce of Manorville.
The matron of honor was Lisa Blackburn of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Jeffrey Van Horn of Chicago. Ushers included Larry Gutowsky of Bloomfield Hills; Brad Button of Utica, Mich.; and Colin Blackburn of Butler.
The bride is a 1983 graduate of Butler High School, a 1987 graduate of Clarion University and a 2005 graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. She is employed at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in South Haven.
The bridegroom graduated in 1983 from Birmingham Seaholm High School and in 1987 from Western Michigan University. He is self-employed under the business title Best Home Financial in Benton Harbor, Mich.
Following a honeymoon trip to Quebec, the couple is making their home in Glenn.
