12:26 a.m. Sunday — James Edward Evans, 42, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his van collided with a car at Hansen Avenue and Pillow Street.Police also cited Evans for accidents involving damage to another vehicle, careless driving, driving the wrong way on a on-way street, and driving with invalid inspection. Cody Dowling, 18, of Penn Township was driving the car.12:05 a.m. Sunday — Albert King, 50, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Jonel Browning, 32, at the couple's Zeigler Avenue home. King is charged with simple assault.5:23 a.m. Saturday — Frederick McGill, 50, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Robyn Dicola, 36, at their West Brady Street home. McGill is charged with simple assault.
Sunday — Cars driven by Ernest Hart, 18, of Cochranton, Crawford County, and Audrey Wasko, 84, of Butler collided on Route 8 at the Clearview Mall in Center Township. Hart, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.6:10 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Charles Devore, 58, and Jennifer Sasse, 28, both of Butler, collided on Route 8 at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.Friday — Three long guns and an air compressor were taken between Wednesday and Friday in a burglary at a Timko Lane camp in Forward Township.The stolen guns are a Sears .22-caliber rifle, a Marlin .22-caliber lever-action rifle and a Savage 12-gauge pump-action shotgun. George Timko of Pittsburgh owns the stolen property, valued at $520.Friday — James Raith, 41, of Butler was arrested for allegedly violating a court-issued protection from abuse order after contacting Rebecca Raith, 29, of Butler at a Highland Drive home in Summit Township.11:54 p.m. Wednesday — A motorcycle driven by David Derbish, 19, of Pittsburgh crashed on Route 488 in Muddy Creek Township. Derbish, who was wearing a helmet, suffered minor injuries.
3:15 a.m. Saturday — John Machen Jr., 31, of Penn Hills, Allegheny County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car crashed and flipped onto its roof on Route 268 in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County. Machen, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.State Police, Mercer10:45 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Jack Spencer, 84, of Grove City and a truck driven by Joseph Humphrey, 53, of Harrisville collided at Route 208 and North Liberty Road in Pine Township, Mercer County. Spencer was cited for a stop sign violation.
June 9 — Daniel B. Kromer, 36, of 229 Lee Road was arrested for driving under the influence after he was involved in an accident while exiting Pizza Joe's, 601 W. Main St. Kromer pulled out in front of a Ford pickup truck operated by a juvenile female. No other information was available.
2:08 a.m. June 10 — Police charged Daniel James Cummings, 53, of Fombell, Beaver County, for driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop on Route 19 near Perry Way. A patrolman saw the man's vehicle weaving and crossing the white line on Route 19.8:13 p.m. June 10 — Chad Ernst, 29, of Clairton, Allegheny County, reported someone broke into his cottage at 25 Bame Camp Lane causing damage inside and outside of the cottage.3:30 p.m. June 4 — Police said an unidentified black sport utility vehicle pulled onto Route 19 from Zehner School Road, causing a chain-reaction collision of three vehicles driven by Thomas Pepin, 64, of Zelienople; Andrew Stuart McLachlan, 20, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, and William P. Satterlee, 44, of Rockford, Ill.
