1:39 p.m. Friday — Carl Schall reported four black solar landscape lights, worth a total of $260, were stolen from his front at 500 Negley Ave. between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
12:50 a.m. Friday — Jason Summerville, 34, of West Sunbury was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 8 in Center Township.Wednesday — The Karns City Rylyns Foodmart reported a soda vending machine outside its Oneida Valley Road location was vandalized overnight, causing $100 worth of damage.8:12 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by a 16-year-old girl from Knoxville, Tenn., was traveling on North Euclid Avenue in Parker when it struck a post and a parked car owned by Thomas Hilliard, age unavailable, of Parker. The impact sent Hilliard's car smashing into his residence. No injuries were reported.2 a.m. June 3 — Bradley S. Mayberry, age unavailable, was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Water and Rebecca streets in Saxonburg. Anyone with information about the incident should call state police at 724-284-8100.June 1 — Robert Blumling, 75, of Butler reported the theft of about 50 Percocet tablets from a pill bottle in his apartment in Newhaven Court in Center Township between 6:30 p.m. May 1 and 6:30 p.m. June 1. Police are investigating.
3:30 p.m. Friday — No one was seriously injured in a seven-car accident in Springfield Township. A vehicle driven by Michael Tackett, 35, of West Pittsburgh was traveling on Route 19 when it struck several vehicles stopped at a construction area. Seven vehicles were involved in the accident, which only left Cherilyn Stiles, 18, of New Castle, one the drivers, and her passenger, Danielle Dudash, 18, also of New Castle, with minor injuries. Tackett and the other drivers, Brian Moore, 33, of Grove City, Marshall Jones, 58, of Conneaut Lake, Elva Klingensmith, 40, of Ellwood City, Janet Dionsio, 50, of Mercer and Denra Wimer, 44, of Volant were not injured. Klingensmith's and Wimer's passengers also were not injured. All of the drivers and passengers were wearing seat belts. Tackett was cited for not driving at a safe speed.6:29 a.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Peter Davis III, age unavailable, of Grove City and a vehicle driven by Clayton Hanna, age unavailable, of Harrisville collided on Route 308 in Pine Township. Davis, who was not wearing a seat belt, received unspecified injuries. Hanna was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.May 25 — Lisa McLaughlin, age unavailable, of Grove City was charged with violating a protection from abuse order following an incident with John Mathieson, age unavailable, of Mercer at Plantation Park on Wilson Street in Findley Township.
2:08 a.m. June 10 — Police charged Daniel James Cummings, 53, of Fombell, Beaver County, for driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop on Route 19 near Perry Way. A patrolman saw the man's vehicle weaving and crossing the white line on Route 19.8:13 p.m. June 10 —- Chad Ernst, 29, of Clairton, Allegheny County, reported someone broke into his cottage at 25 Bame Camp Lane, causing damage inside and outside of the cottage.3:30 p.m. June 4 — Police said an unidentified black sport utility vehicle pulled onto Route 19 from Zehner School Road, causing a chain-reaction collision of three vehicles driven by Thomas Pepin, 64, of Zelienople; Andrew Stuart McLachlan, 20, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County; and William P. Satterlee, 44, of Rockford, Ill.
