Graduates
Julie Hough graduated with an associate's degree in registered nursing recently from Butler County Community College.While at the college, she served as treasurer of the nursing club and worked as a nurse's aide at Lowrie House in Butler.The daughter of John and Rhonda Hough of Meridian, she is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School.Hough has accepted a nursing position in the medical/surgical unit of Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She also plans to pursue further education at Slippery Rock University.———
<B>Sarah Cole, </B>graduated summa cum laude from Slippery Rock University recently, receiving a degree in elementary and special education.While at the university, she was named to the dean's list every semester and was named to Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. She also received the Mark A. Shiring Education Scholarship and was a member of the Honors Program, Sigma Epsilon Delta and Lambda Epsilon Delta.The daughter of Randy and Lorrie Cole of Butler, she is a 2002 graduate of Moniteau High School.Cole has accepted a position as a third grade teacher at Broad Street Elementary School in the Butler School District.———<B>Jason Thompson</B> graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh recently, receiving an associate of science degree in video production.The son of Robert and Kathy Thompson of Butler, he is currently employed as an associate producer for a local Fox Television Show. He is also involved in pre-production for an upcoming independent film.———
<B>Stephen Murray</B> graduated with a bachelor of science degree in physics and math from Slippery Rock University.The son of Bud and Connie Murray of Cabot, he is a 2002 graduate of Knoch High School.Murray is currently employed as an assistant manager for Sheetz.He plans to pursue a master's degree in education and a teacher's certification.———<B>Jason Crawford</B> graduated from Duquesne University recently, receiving a doctoral degree in pharmacy.The son of Steven Crawford of East Butler and Cindy Snyder of Saxonburg, he is a 2000 graduate of Karns City High School.Crawford currently resides in Aurora, Ohio, where he has accepted a position at CVSPharmacy.———
<B>Rebecca Pavkovich</B> graduated from Grove City College recently, earning a bachelor of arts degree in political science and pre-law.A 2002 graduate of Butler High School, she is the daughter of Stanley and Jennifer Pavkovich of Butler.She is currently employed at Troy-Alan Pontiac-Buick-GMC in Mercer.Pavkovich plans to attend the Paralegal Institute at Duquesne University in the fall.———<B>Devin Rosenbauer</B> graduated with highest honors from Rochester Institute of Technology.The son of Ray and Jeanne Rosenbauer, he has accepted a position as a software engineer with Paetec Telecommunications.———
