1:04 p.m. Saturday — No one was injured when the front driver's side wheel of a car came loose and struck a sport utility vehicle on Center Drive in Oakland Township.David Young, 32, of Karns City, the driver of the car, was cited for driving without insurance and driving with a suspended license and registration. Gary Burk, 31, of Chicora was driving the SUV.Saturday — An unknown thief between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday smashed the window of a car parked on Hindman Lane in Connoquenessing Township and stole stereo equipment from the vehicle, owned by Matthew Brown of Petrolia.

7:50 a.m. Sunday — Dustin Hosmer, 25, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Springfield Township, Mercer County.7:40 p.m. May 29 — A pickup truck driven by Cindy Hooks, no age given, of Grove City and a car driven by Elsie Jordan, no age given, of Jackson Center collided at Route 58 and George Junior Road in Pine Township, Mercer County. Both drivers suffered minor injuries.
