4:59 p.m. Tuesday — Two Kittanning teenagers were injured when their sporty utility vehicle crashed off Nicholson Run Road and ended nearly submerged in a swampy marshland in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.South Buffalo area volunteer firefighters and ambulance workers helped free the girls, both 17, from the wreckage. Police did not identify either girl.The passenger was flown by medical helicopter with major injuries to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. The driver was taken by ambulance with moderate injuries to ACMCHospital in Kittanning. The conditions of the girls, neither wearing a seat belt, were not known this morning.Police said the driver faces charges of driving too fast for conditions and no wearing a seat belt.Sunday — Dan Edmunds of Sarver reported the theft of aluminum siding from his Winfield Road house in North Buffalo Township between Thursday and Sunday.

7:35 a.m. Saturday — A pickup truck driven by Gail Jordan, 48, of Butler and a car driven by Christine Weiland, 24, of Gibsonia collided at East Brady and North Monroe streets. Weiland, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.

Wednesday — A 17-year-old boy is accused of taking a Yamaha motorcycle from a storage shed in a burglary at the Harmony Street home of Norman and Stella Graham in Connoquenessing. The boy, who police did not identify, faces burglary, theft and other charges.12:10 a.m. Tuesday — Gary Lee Fallecker, 48, was arrested for allegedly punching Mary Duffy-Jabault, 42, at the Welter Road home the couple share in Oakland Township. Fallecker is charged with simple assault and harassment.Tuesday — Thee people were injured when pickup trucks driven by William Plate, 84, of Butler and Frederick Kalmeyer, 41, of Renfrew collided at Route 68 and Moose Road in Connoquenessing Township. Kalmeyer's pickup flipped onto its roof.Both drivers and a passenger in Plate's truck, Geraldine Plate, 85, of Butler, all wearing seat belts, were treated for minor injuries at UPMC Passavant Cranberry.Tuesday — A white, 2002 Aero Cub Camper was stolen between 1:30 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Tuesday from the parking lot at Schaefer Truck Sales in Franklin Township. The camper's license Pennsylvania plate is XV82084.Tuesday — Vandals drove a Caterpillar bulldozer into a muddy ravine at the Allegheny Minerals Corp. on Campground Road in Mercer Township. The vandalism between 2 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Tuesday caused substantial damage to dozer's mechanical and hydraulic system.
