The Youngs in 1956

Larry and Dorothy Young of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a trip to Perdido Bay, Fla., and Columbus, Ga., where a family reception was held in their honor. A family dinner was also held in Wexford.

The former Dorothy George married Young on April 1, 1956, at the Church of the Nazarene in Columbus.

They have four children, Larry Young of Wexford and Susan Randolph, Cherie Gahagan and Ken Young, all of Butler.They also have five grandsons.Young is retired from West Penn Power. He enjoys hunting.Mrs. Young enjoys taking water aerobics classes at the YMCA.
