Hasychak

Lindsay Hasychak graduated magna cum laude from Slippery Rock University recently, receiving a bachelor of science degree in secondary education/Spanish.While at the university, she participated in the Honors Program, was a scholarship recipient and was named to the dean's list. She was a member of the Kappa Delta Pi and Sigma Delta Pi honoraries and served as a community assistant, receiving the Outstanding Community Development Award.Hasychak was also a member of the National Residence Hall Honorary, the Association of Residence Hall Students and Dodds Hall House Council, for which she served as President. She was a National Collegiate Honors College Conference Presenter in New Orleans and participated in a study abroad program at the University of Alcala in Madrid, Spain.The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rick Hasychak of Butler, she is a 2002 Butler High School.Hasychak was recently named Butler High School Varsity Cheerleading Coach and co-competition cheerleading coach.———

<B>H. Philip "Chip" Cahill</B> graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in education recently from the University of Miami.A1972 graduate of Knoch High School he currently works as a teacher of elementary dynamics.———

<B>Midshipman Candidate Brian Arroyo,</B> formerly of Cabot, graduated from the Naval Academy Preparatory School recently, earning the opportunity to attend the U.S. Naval Academy.A 2005 graduate of St. Joseph High School, he received a Congressional Nomination from U.S. Rep. Phil English, R-3rd, a presidential nomination and the Secretary of the Navy Nomination.———

<B>John Craig</B>, a graduate of Slippery Rock High School, graduated from The College of Wooster recently.While at the college, Craig participated in the varsity soccer team, served as a tutor and was named a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Summer Research Scholar. He was also named to the dean's list, and was awarded the William Byron Ross Memorial Prize in Chemistry.———

<B>Rebecca Boice</B> graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy recently, receiving a bachelor of science degree in operations research and computer analysis.While at the academy, she served as captain of the soccer team, was a four-year recipient of the Sport Blanket and received the American Legion Department of Connecticut Trophy.A2002 graduate of Karns City High School, she is the daughter of Ken and Betty Boice of Chicora.Boice is currently serving as an ensign in the Coast Guard, stationed in Honolulu.———

<B>Lacey Heckert</B> of Butler graduated cum laude from Coastal Carolina University recently, receiving a bachelor of science degree.———

<B>Rebecca Danner</B>, graduated from The College of Wooster recently.Agraduate of Freeport High School, she was a member of the college's chemistry club and the biochemistry/molecular biology club. She also was a first-year representative and treasurer with the Wooster Volunteer Network. In addition, she was awarded a Compton Scholarship.———

<B>Adam Alexandrunas</B> of Valencia graduated with a bachelor of arts degree recently from Baldwin-Wallace College.———
