Charles G. Frost

Charles G. Frost, in his 90th year, of Zelienople died Sunday at the Passavant Retirement Center, Zelienople.

Char-les, son of the late Char-les Albert and Emma Anna Steinmark Frost and brother of Dorothy Seeger, was born Oct. 28, 1916, in Pittsburgh. He was a descendant of the founders of Frostburg, Md.

He lived in Ohio Township, Allegheny County, before moving to Zelienople.

A 1944 graduate of Carnegie Technical Institute, he worked at Sterling Varnish/Reichhold Chemical Co. and retired in 1981.

His hobbies included golf, woodworking and genealogy.

Mr. Frost was a member of the English Lutheran Church of Zelienople, where he belonged to the choir.

His wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Ebert Frost, whom he married Sept. 14, 1946, died Feb. 8, 2001.

He is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann (Charles) Hunt of Whitehall and Patricia (James) Harris of Eastlake, Ohio; grandchildren, Joshua (Laura) Hunt, Nathaniel Harris, Melissa (Michael) Grim and Lucas Harris; and a great-grandson, Tyler Hunt.

<B>FROST </B>— Friends of Charles G. Frost, who died Sunday, April 23, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Keplinger, his church pastor, officiating. He will be buried next to his wife at Mount Royal Cemetery, Shaler Township, Allegheny County.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the English Lutheran Church, 200 E.
