BUTLER TWP — Students can enroll in new classes in the Kids on Campus Summer Enrichment Program at Butler CountyCommunity College.
The program has weekly classes for students in grades 2 to 10.
New classes include: girls' day out, kids in the kitchen, fun with robotics, forensic discovery, designing for the Web, print mailing and investigative reporter on the scene. More than 45 classes are offered in subjects as varied as medieval castles, hurricanes, and galaxies.
Tuition is $50 per course or three courses for $130. Classes are 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily June 19 to Aug. 4.
An art camp runs 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 19 to June 30 for grades 5 to 8. Students will learn from artists about art media including batik. Enrollment for the camp is limited and the cost is $350.
A theater camp runs all day July 31 to Aug. 11 for grades 6 to 11. Students will study character development, monologues, improvisation, and conclude with a performance.
