3:10 p.m. Sunday — Randall A. Yockey, 41, of Butler was taken by helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital after his motorcycle was hit by a car driven by Steven A. Hahn, 23, of East Butler on Route 8 at Clearview Circle. Yockey was wearing a helmet, but was knocked from the motorcycle. His condition is unknown this morning. Charges against Hahn are pending.7:31 p.m. Saturday — A driver and passenger were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital after the car driven by Hope A. McIntyne, 21, of Slippery Rock went off of Muddy Creek Drive in Brady Township and hit a tree. Both McIntyne and her passenger, Melissa E. Kaplin, 17, of West Sunbury, were taken to BMH. McIntyne had chest and back injuries, while Kaplin, who was not wearing her seat belt, had a head injury. Their conditions are not known this morning.5:01 p.m. Saturday — S&S Market, 101 North Road, Franklin Township, reported that three females between the ages of 25 and 45, driving a four-door green sedan, scammed the store out of $141.12 during a transaction with a cashier.3:45 p.m. Saturday — Three juvenile girls were arrested for retail theft at the J.C. Penney department store in Clearview Mall.3:15 p.m. Saturday — Michael Campbell, 35, of Butler was charged with retail theft after he took two cartons of Pepsi and paid for only one at the Kwik Fill, 1801 N. Main St., Center Township.10 a.m. Saturday — Someone vandalized the East Butler Baseball Association complex in East Butler by damaging several buildings and discharging a fire extinguisher. Nothing appears to have been stolen.8 a.m. Saturday — An unknown driver hit a wooden fence at 184 Ragan Road in Muddy Creek Township and fled.6 a.m. Saturday — Eric Hilliard of 167 Church St., Prospect, reported that some tools, a cellular phone and two wallets with cash were taken from his truck that was parked in his driveway.4:45 a.m. Saturday — Clinton Daniel Kohler, 27, of West Sunbury, lost control of his car on Beaver Dam Road in Clay Township, left the road and hit a tree. He then fled on foot only to be arrested later on several summary charges. He suffered a minor injury to his arm in the crash.

3:55 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Edward D. Fegert, 66, of Callensburg, Clarion County, on Route 58 in Sligo struck a horse carrying two women after the animal was spooked as it walked along the road. After impact, the horse and riders went over the car and landed on the road. There is no word on the condition of the horse, however, the riders were slightly injured. They are Melisa Ann Murray, 20, and Sheree Ann Ort, 28, both of Sligo. They were taken to Clarion Hospital for treatment.The car, a 1993 Chevrolet Cavalier had to be towed from the scene, about one-half mile from Sligo Elementary School.11:15 p.m. Friday — Michael Egley, 17, of Kittanning was driving a truck on Red Mill Road when he lost control of the vehicle that then traveled off the road, hit an embankment and rolled over. He was treated and released from ACMH Hospital.9:30 p.m. Friday — Shelly Atzeni, 30, of Sligo hit a deer on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township. He car had to be towed because of the damage. She was not injured.4:46 p.m. Friday — Jason Ronald Watson, 26 of Cabot, was stopped on Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County. A search of the car found a bag of marijuana and a pipe.

7:58 p.m. May 15 — Paul Baseler, 18, of Grove City got into a fight in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart store in Pine Township with a juvenile. The victim refused to file charges.

11 a.m. Saturday — Jareb Lewis, 25, of Slippery Rock reported that someone poured concrete down three toilets in his home at 436 Grossman Lane in Scott Township, Lawrence County. Damage is estimated at $1,000.
