The Butler Rotary Club has announced the winners of its biannual William DiCuccio Memorial Essay Contest. This year's essay topic was "What are the qualities that a voter should look for in a candidate for political office?" From left are: Andrew Weiland, third place winner; DiCuccio; Thomas Winker, first place winner; and Chelsie Markle, second place winner. All three students are from Butler High School. The contest was open to students in grades 9 through 12 in Butler, Moniteau and Knoch High Schools. DiCuccio's son, William DiCuccio III, presented cash prizes to this year's winners.
