12:30 p.m. Friday — A green vehicle driven by an unknown person struck a parked car owned by Billie Roudebush of Butler in the YMCA parking lot on Washington Street before fleeing the scene.2:08 p.m. May 20 — A vehicle driven by Mary Wagner, 67, of East Butler and a vehicle driven by Ashley Duespohl, 18, of Butler collided at the intersection of North Main and Penn streets. Both drivers had minor injuries. Wagner's passenger, Charles Wagner, 54, was not injured. All three people were wearing seat belts.12:20 a.m. May 20 — Tina Budner, 35, of Butler was charged with simple assault and harassment after allegedly striking, kicking and scratching her husband, Michael Budner Sr., 36, in their residence at 615 W. New Castle St., Apt. 3.
1:30 a.m. Thursday — An SUV driven by Linda Hynes, 60, of Portersville was traveling on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township when it struck a guardrail. She was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.Thursday — An unknown vehicle, possibly yellow, struck a Geo Prizm owned by Andrew Litzinger, 19, of Boyers while it was in the parking lot of the Larry Teal Alignment Shop in Forward Township between 6:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Anyone with information about the incident should call police at 724-284-8100.May 11 — Dylan Durdul, 19, of Carlisle reported the theft of a black Diamond Back mountain bicycle from Cameron Drive in Slippery Rock Township between midnight and 8 a.m.6:30 p.m. Tuesday — Gerald Norcross, 38, of Bruin was assaulted by several bar patrons outside the Chicora Hilltop Inn in Hummingbird Plaza. After being taken home, Norcross was unresponsive. He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, where it was determined he received a head injury. Norcross was then taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition Saturday morning. Police are investigating.11 a.m. Thursday — Sheryll Philmon, 33, of Chicora was charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing $17.90 worth of merchandise from the Chicora Friedman's.2:50 p.m. Thursday — A tanker hauling cement driven by Joshua Barto, age unavailable, was traveling on Interstate 79 in Worth Township when it caught fire. The Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Department doused the fire. Barto was not injured.2:34 a.m. May 20 — Joseph Tate, 30, of Evans City was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of East Jefferson and Main streets.11:35 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Justin McKivigan, 21, of Butler was traveling on West Liberty Road in Brady Township when it struck a hillside and overturned. As McKivigan and his passenger, Timothy Mainhart, 22, of Renfrew were climbing out of the car, it caught fire. Neither man was injured. McKivigan was charged with driving under the influence.
