Floyd and Julia Sutton

Floyd and Julia Sutton of Karns City will celebrate 60 years of marriage Thursday.

The former Julia Altmire married Sutton on May 18, 1946.

They have two children, Carolyn Schuyler of Franklinville, N.Y., and Dennis Sutton of Bruin.

They also have three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Sutton retired in 1984 from Marmon Keystone in East Butler. He is a veteran of World War II.

Mrs. Sutton is a homemaker. She retired from the Butler County Courthouse in 1997.

The couple belongs to St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in West Sunbury.
