Charles Rose of Zelienople will celebrate his 100th birthday Sunday with a dinner for family and friends at the Dynasty International Buffet in Cranberry Township.

Born May 21, 1906, in Pittsburgh. He married Elizabeth Kaven on Sept. 6, 1928. She is deceased.

He has a daughter, Elizabeth Garland of Zelienople. A son, Charles Rose is deceased. He also has four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Rose is retired from his barber shop at the Pennsylvania Railroad Station in Pittsburgh. He likes fishing, gardening and camping.
