Kiester

George Kiester of Butler will celebrate his 95th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at 205 Rittswood Drive.

He was born May 20, 1911, in Butler County. He married Mae Bonsall on Feb. 26, 1938.

He has three children, Carol Loza of Cinnaminson, N.J.; Diane Dildine of Frederick, Md.; and Philip Kiester of Dallas. Two daughters, Marilyn Ross and Cynthia Kiester, are deceased.

He also has 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Kiester is a retired judge in the Butler County Court of Common Pleas. He retired in 1981 and continued to serve as a judge as-needed until 2003.
