Olive Cratty

Olive Cratty of the Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville celebrated her 100th birthday May 13 with a family dinner at Autumn Grove.

The former Olive Ifft was born May 16, 1906, in Franklin Township. She married the late Floyd Cratty on Jan. 22, 1936.

Mrs. Cratty has two children, Lee Cratty and Clair Cratty, both of Butler.

She also has six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cratty was a homemaker and worked with her husband on a farm that produced strawberries, potatoes and eggs. She also operated potato harvesting equipment and grated potatoes for Giant Eagle stores until age 96.

Amember of the Truth Seekers Class at First Baptist Church, she also enjoyed making quilts.
