Mary and George Boggs

George and Mary Boggs of Cabot will celebrate 60 years of marriage with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Concordia Haven Iapartments, Marwood Road, Cabot.

The former Mary Burtner married Boggs May 20, 1946, at Thorn Creek United Methodist Church in Butler.

They have four children, Beverly Sasse of Butler; Barton Boggs of Papillion, Neb.; Brenda Hall of Richmond, Va.; and Beth Jones of Hooper, Colo.They also have nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Boggs is a retired pilot, mechanic and missionary.Mrs. Boggs is a homemaker and retired missionary.The couple belongs to Calvary Church in Santa Ana, Calif., and the Freeport Road Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
