Dollar

Elizabeth C. "Betty" Dollar, 79, formerly of Lyndora, died Friday at the Trinity Living Center in Grove City.

Born Oct. 12, 1926, in Jefferson Center, she was the daughter of Sebastian and Victoria Bugar Furka.

She worked in the food service department at the Butler Senior High School for 12 years until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and was also a member of St. Paul Guild.

Her husband, Harry J. Dollar Jr., preceded her in death on March 25, 1979.

Surviving her are two daughters, Julie Ann Langa and her husband, David, of Butler and Teresa Bascom and her husband, John, of Lyndora; a brother, Joseph Furka and his wife, Sarah, of Butler; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Zaludek, Mrs. John (Susan) Zavacky, Mrs. Ann Gamble and Mrs. Robert (Julia) Lardin, all of Butler; four grandchildren, Jennifer and Daniel Langa, and Jessica and Megan Bascom; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

<B>DOLLAR — </B>Friends of Elizabeth C. "Betty" Dollar, who died Friday, April 7, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler. St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday at the church to recite the Rosary. Burial will follow at the Butler County Memorial Park.
