The Birckbichlers in 1956

Cletus and Mary Ann Birckbichler of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a dinner for family and friends at the Lake Arthur Country Club.

The former Mary Ann Bellis married Birckbichler on May 5, 1956, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have three children, Carrie Birckbichler of Slippery Rock and Sandra Tilko and Craig Birckbichler, both of Butler.

They also have two grandchildren.Birckbichler retired from Sprint after 40 years of service.Mrs. Birckbichler is a homemaker.The couple belongs to St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.
