Christine C. Smith, 36, of Butler died Thursday at the Butler Memorial Hospital emergency room.

Born Nov. 11, 1969, in Butler, she was the daughter of James E. Smith Jr. and Dorothy White Smith of Butler.

She had attended Shiloh Baptist Church and was a graduate of Butler High School and the ICM School of Business in Pittsburgh.

She was employed by American Eagle Outfitters in Wexford and belonged to the American Legion Post 117 and the Moose Lodge 64 auxiliaries.

Surviving are her parents, of Butler; her close friend, Tom Bleicher; a nephew; a niece; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by a sister.
