Carol A. Suchonic

Carol A. Suchonic, 63, of Flourtown, Montgomery County, died Wednesday at the Chestnut Hill Hospital, Philadelphia. She formerly lived in Butler and in Roxborough near Philadelphia.

Born Nov. 11, 1942, she was the daughter of the late George and Freda Simmers Schaffer.

She had been a registered nurse at Cathedral Village in Roxborough for 25 years.

Surviving are her husband, Richard J. Suchonic; a son, Michael Suchonic and his wife, Christine, of Narvon, Lancaster County; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Diane) Nelson of Savannah, Ga.; two brothers, George Schaffer of Chicago and Paul Schaffer of Butler; and a sister, Patricia Eisenhuth of Butler.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Angert.

<B>Suchonic </B>— Friends of Carol A. Suchonic, who died Wednesday, March 29, 2006, will be received from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 11:10 a.m. Saturday at the church.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G.
