April 20 — Slippery Rock University students Ryan James Johnson, 23, of Kittanning; David L. Roudabush Jr., 23 of Portage; and Thomas Leo Brose III, 21, of Pittsburgh were charged with disorderly house after burning three chairs that belonged to residents of 210 Cornish Drive.April 21 — Jessica Renee Capozzi, 21, of Carnegie was arrested for driving under the influence after police observed her crossing the centerline on North Main Street five times and almost striking another vehicle. A blood test showed Capozzi's blood alcohol content to be 0.166 percent.

Monday — Fifteen CDs were stolen from a Ford Mustang parked at Lincoln School Apartments, 113 Gilmore Ave., between 10:45 p.m. Sunday and 7:45 a.m. Monday. The vehicle, owned by a 17-year-old girl from Harvard Street, was not locked.9:46 p.m. April 21 — Naomi R. McElrath, 71, of Volant was charged for a traffic violation after an accident involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Broad and Main streets. Driving a 1997 Pontiac Transport, McElrath made a left turn onto Main Street and failed to yield to a pedestrian, Betty J. Seelbaugh, 73, of Broad Street, who was using the crosswalk. Seelbaugh was treated at Grove City Medical Center.9:15 a.m. April 20 — While operating a motorcycle, David Cooney, 51, of Kimberly Drive struck a vehicle operated by Joyce Deemer, 45, of Oil City as she pulled across traffic into the parking lot of the Perkins restaurant on West Main Street. Deemer was cited for a left turn violation.April 20 — Someone entered a residence in the 100 block of Edgewood Avenue through the rear door between 6 p.m. April 19 and 6:15 a.m. April 20 and took a vinyl brown purse. The purse contained a First National Bank checkbook, keys and six electronic toys on a ring.April 19 — Sometime between 8:30 p.m. April 18 and 7:45 a.m. someone broke into X-Treme Audio, 710 W. Main St., and took more than $2,000 worth of audio equipment.

8:45 a.m. Wednesday — Acar driven by John Mackalica, 27, of Boyers and a mini-van driven by Paula Porter, 45, of Hilliards collided on Route 38 near Kuhn Road in Concord Township. After the collision, Mackalica's car hit an embankment.He was treated for unknown injures at Butler Memorial Hospital. Police said he was wearing a seat belt.Wednesday — Steel pipe valued at $5,000 was taken from an oil well off Windy Point Road in Marion Township. James Martin of Kennerdell, Venango County, owns the stolen property.11:40 p.m. April 18 — Two people were charged after a patrol trooper spotted them fighting in a sport utility vehicle parked on Whitestown Road in Butler Township.Michael Gregg, 24, of Butler the driver, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and disorderly conduct. Brian Krajcer, 25, of Slippery Rock, the front seat passenger, was arrested for disorderly conduct.Krajcer was taken to the Butler County Prison after police learned he was wanted on a bench warrant issued by Butler County court.

9:55 a.m. Wednesday — Robert Longdon, 55, of Cobb, Ga., was arrested after police stopped him towing a trailer without safety chains secured to his vehicle. He was found to be driving with a suspended license. He was arraigned on charges of being a habitual offender for driving under suspension as well as a number of vehicle violations, and placed in the Armstrong County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bond.

Sunday — A set of golf clubs and a golf bag valued at $2,850 were taken between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday from an unlocked car at the Old Hickory Lane home of Timothy Bonner in Pine Township, Mercer County. Police described the golf bag as being a unique "Notre Dame-style."
