Martin Havlat scored for the fourth straight game Thursday night, leading Ottawa to a 5-2 victory over Tampa Bay.

PLAYOFF PERFORMER

Nashville rookie defenseman Shea Weber scored his second goal of the postseason in the Predators' 5-4 loss to San Jose on Thursday night, matching his total in 28 regular-season games.

DUCK HUNT

Calgary lost 3-2 to Anaheim in overtime on Thursday night, two nights after a 5-2 win. The Flames, who split the first four games of the best-of-seven series with the Mighty Ducks, haven't won consecutive games in Anaheim since the 1995-96 season.

HURTING

Montreal captain Saku Koivu is out indefinitely after being accidentally hit with a stick near his left eye during a playoff loss to Carolina. The star center was injured Wednesday night when he was struck by the stick of Hurricanes forward Justin Williams during the Canadiens' 2-1 overtime loss. Montreal leads the best-of-seven series 2-1.

SPEAKING

"It's a different standard with those two. It seems like you get credited for having the courage to call everything." — Edmonton coach Craig MacTavish on referees Marc Joannette and Dean Warren, who called 19 total penalties in the Oilers' 4-2 loss to Detroit on Thursday night. The Red Wings scored three power-play goals.
