Alma Jane Fritch
Alma Jane Fritch, 86, of Germaine Road, Butler, died at 5:11 a.m. Saturday in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 31, 1920, in Butler, she was the daughter of Timothy H. Frederick and Gertrude Shearer Frederick.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She was a life member of the Tanglewood Senior Center, AARP and the Ladies Auxiliary of the YMCA and the Tri-State Music Association.
Surviving are her close companion, Carl L. Rettig of Butler; two sons, Timothy Watterson and his wife, Sandra, of Little Rock, Ark. and William Watterson and his wife, Becky, of Butler; three daughters, Mrs. James (Judy) Rettig, Mrs. Robert (Mary Jane) Weisenstein and Marjorie Watterson and her fiancee, Dennis Filges, all of Butler; a sister, Helen E. Domke of Butler; a brother, Donald W. Frederick of Clearwater, Fla.; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; five step-grandchildren and a number of step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Watterson, who died July 30, 1971, her second husband, Wilbert J. Fritch, who died Jan. 3, 1988, and by four sisters.
<B>FRITCH </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Alma Jane Fritch, who died on Saturday, March 25, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 124 E. North St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert W. Strobel of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Gruenwald Cemetery.
