Maksanty

Andrew Maksanty of Butler celebrated his 90th birthday recently at the home of his daughter.

He was born March 28, 1916, in Lyndora. He married Stella Aquilino in 1945. She is deceased.

He has three children, Angela Maksanty, Mary Ann Schnitkzi and Richard Maksanty, all of Butler.

Maksanty retired from Armco Steel in 1980.

He belongs to the VFW and American Legion Post 117 in Butler.

Maksanty is a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora, the former St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church.
