Harry W. Daw

Harry W. Daw, 94, formerly of Butler and of Naples, Fla., died Tuesday evening at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries home in Cabot.

Born in Woburn, Mass., Dec. 7, 1911, he was a son of Harry W. and Margaret Rock Daw Sr.

He retired as a distributor for the Gulf Oil Corp. in Massachusetts after more than 40 years.

Mr. Daw had been a member of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Fort Myers Beach, Fla.

Surviving are his wife, LaRue Mortimer Daw, whom he married Nov. 4, 1989; a son, Harry M. Daw, and his wife, Maureen, of Sarasota, Fla.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Merle (Brenda) George of Round Rock, Texas, Mrs. Sam (Molly) Lovric of Butler and Mrs. George (Beth) Gumpl of Sturgis, Mich.; and two sisters, Mrs. Jerry (Dorothy) Connors and Mrs. Marjorie Johnson, both of Woburn, Mass.

He also is survived by three step-grandsons, four step-granddaughters and nine step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane, who died in 1988, two brothers and a sister.

<B>DAW </B>— Friends of Harry W. Daw, who died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Harry Bielewicz, pastor of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, officiating.Following cremation, inurnment will take place at the Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Fort Myers, Fla.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
