Jay A. Carney

Jay A. Carney, 50, of Natrona Heights died Monday at Forbes Regional, Monroeville.

Born March 18, 1956, in Greenville, S.C., he was the son of the late Arthur O. and Dorothy E. Debor Carney.

Mr. Carney, a 1974 graduate of Highlands High School, was a bagger at the Community Market in Natrona Heights.

He was a member of the Dugout Pool League in Freeport and a volunteer at the Animal Protectors in New Kensington.

Surviving are two sisters and a brother, Marlane Saye of Leechburg, Colette Hicks of Natrona Heights and Arthur O. Carney Jr. of Lyndora, and nieces and nephews.

<B>CARNEY</B> — Friends of Jay A. Carney, who died Monday, March 20, 2006, will be received from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the <B>ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME</B>, 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights. Services will follow at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Stewart Pollock officiating. Private burial will follow.Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protectors, 533 Linden Ave., New Kensington, PA 15068.
