4:40 p.m. Tuesday — A transit bus driven by Kathy Stutler, 44, of Chicora turned on East Cunningham Street and struck the corner of the Cumberland Building. The building at 115 E. Cunningham St. sustained minor damage.
12:30 a.m. Tuesday — Jason Kneidinger, 21, of Prospect was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck a utility pole along Whitestown Road near Route 528 in Connoquenessing Township.After hitting the pole, the car traveled back across the road and struck a tree.Kneidinger, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. He was also cited for several undisclosed traffic violations.Monday — About $42 was taken between 11 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. in a burglary at Rockers, a restaurant on Chicora Road in Fairview Township.9 p.m. April 9 — Acar driven by Jonathan McIntyre, 25, of Evans City struck a mailbox along Sunset Drive in Center Township. Police said McIntyre did not stop after hitting the mailbox owned by James McKee.
7:15 p.m. Monday — Two cars reportedly stolen from the Lyndora area in Butler County were found stripped at a campground off Neely Road near Kahle Lake in Salem Township, Clarion County.The 1990 Ford Mustang GT owned by Reynaldo Palacious and the 1989 Pontiac sedan owned by Ryan Beatty, both of Butler, were missing their engines, transmissions, wheels and radios.Saturday — An unknown thief between 1 and 7 a.m. smashed a car window and stole a purse and cell phone inside the vehicle at the Route 66 Bar parking lot in Toby Township, Clarion County. Shawna Jewell of Rimersburg owns the car and phone; Amber Jewell of Clarion owns the purse.
8 p.m. Monday — Police are seeking an unknown man who stole a maroon and white, 1988 Ford Bronco parked at the West Main Street home of Darla Black in Worthington, Armstrong County. The vehicle bears the Pennsylvanian license plate FDX9614.The suspect is described as white, in his late teens or early-20s, with a light complexion.
