Eugene Kennedy of Cabot will celebrate his 85th birthday Sunday with an open house at Cabot United Methodist Church.

Mr. Kennedy was born April 24, 1921, in Cabot. He married Marjorie Guy on June 28, 1952.

The couple has two sons, David Kennedy of Cabot and Roger Kennedy of Butler. A third son is deceased.

They also have eight grandchildren.

Mr. Kennedy is a retired dairy farmer. He belongs to Cabot United Methodist Church.
