Kristina L. Quattlander, 51, of 117 Brinker Road, formerly of Shar-psville, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday at her sister's home in Sharon after an extended illness.

Born in Sharon, Nov. 11, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Domenic A. and Angela Fustos Benedetto.

She was a 1972 graduate of Sharpsville High School and received a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Penn State University in a 1976.

Ms. Quattlander worked at Guardian Building Products in Butler for eight years.

She was a Presbyterian. She belonged to the Penn State University Alumni.

She was a Civil War Era history buff. She also enjoyed reading, Disney, the Colonial Era and photography.

Surviving are a daughter, Rachel K. Castle of Butler; a son, William R. Castle II of Manchester, Conn.; a sister, Deborah E. Benedetto of Sharon; and a brother, Mark F. (Theresa) Benedetto of Sharon.

A brother, Dennis D. Benedetto, preceded her in death.

<B>QUATTLANDER </B>— Friends of Kristina L. Quattlander, who died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Donald-Mohney Funeral Home</B>, 124 Main St., Sharpsville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ron McGinnis, interim pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Sharpsville, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
