The following breakfasts are planned for April 14:

• Nixon United Methodist Church will host a Good Friday breakfast at 7:30 a.m. at the church, 334 Airport Road.

The Rev. Stephen Tuell of the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary will speak.

Reservations should be made by calling 724-586-9439. Suggested donation is $3.50. A homemade breakfast will be served.

• Park United Presbyterian Church, Grandview Ave., Zelienople, will hold its annual Good Friday breakfast for fathers, sons and grandsons at 7 a.m. Cost is $5, and tickets can be obtained by contacting the church at 724-452-9570.

• The 56th YMCA Good Friday breakfast is set for 7 a.m. at the Butler YMCA, North Washington Street.

The Rev. Peter Nordby, assistant pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will speak. Cost is $4. Tickets are available at the YMCA or from participating churches.

• Meridian United Presbyterian Church on Highland Avenue in Butler will host a Good Friday breakfast at 6:30 a.m. The breakfast will be followed by a biblical portrayal by Mark McCoy.

Tickets can be purchased for $3 at the church office. Children younger than 12 are free. Reservation deadline is April 12.
