EVANS CITY — District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:
Robert E. Burr, 41, of Harmony waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 27 by the Jackson Township police with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, two counts of an illegal transfer to a vehicle salvage dealer and two counts of an illegal transfer to metal scrap process.
Michelle Christine Miller, 23, of Harmony waived her case to court. She was charged March 16 by the Jackson Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and disregard of traffic lane.
Kenneth Walter Rhodes, 34, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged March 8 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving.
James Wahl, Jr., 22, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged March 16 by the Evans City police with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to keep right and careless driving.
CRANBERRY TWP —District Judge Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:Shane Schneider, 27, of Cranberry Township pleaded guilty to charges of possession of marijuana and use/possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered to pay $463.50 in fines and court costs. He had been charged Feb. 15 by the Butler County detectives.Lorraine A. Knight, 44, of Beaver Falls, Beaver County, waived her case to court. She was charged May 7, 2003, by the Zelienople police with theft by deception and writing bad checks.Sophia Taylor Richards, 37, of Youngstown, Ohio, had her case held for court. She was charged Feb. 7 by the Cranberry Township police with conspiracy to commit forgery.Michelle R. Harper, 31, of Beaver, Beaver County, had her case held for court. She was charged March 8 by the Cranberry Township police with writing bad checks, theft by deception and receiving stolen property.James E. Seibert, 28, of Saxonburg waived his case for court. He was charged Feb. 27 by the Cranberry Township police with fraudulent, altered, forged or counterfeit documents or plates.Phillip James Poelcher, 24, of Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 27 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance combined alcohol/drugs and depositing waste on a highway.Shawn Leonard McDaniels, 35, of Pittsburgh waived his case to court. He was charged March 27 by the Cranberry Township police with robbery, retail theft, receiving stolen property and harassment.Douglas Michael Peluse, 27, of Pittsburgh waived his two separate cases to court. He was charged Jan. 10 by the Cranberry Township police with conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. He was also charged Jan. 30 by the Cranberry Township police with conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking.Charles R. Boone, 35, of Canton, Ohio, waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 7 by the Cranberry Township police with four counts of forgery, four counts of identity theft, three counts of theft by deception, two counts of receiving stolen property, writing bad checks and conspiracy to commit forgery.
