2:05 a.m. Saturday — Richard W. Graham, 23, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop on Route 422 in Mt. Chestnut. He also was charged with driving at unsafe speeds and ignoring traffic control devices.5:33 p.m. Saturday — Albert J. Elza, age unknown, of 121 Driftwood Drive, Saxonburg, was taken by helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh after crashing his motorcycle at 121 Saxonburg Road in Butler Township. He was driving at a high rate of speed and missed a left turn, crashing into a guard rail and was thrown from his motorcycle over an embankment. His condition is unknown.
2:15 April 3 — Grace M. Johns, 75, of Parker was driving a pick up truck on Route 58 when she left the road and hit a tree. She had moderate injuries and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. She was not wearing a seat belt.April 3 — Someone between 4:30 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Thursday damaged the car owned by Sara Buyny, 21, while it was parked in front of her home in Beacon Light Mobile Home Park in Center Township. The car's front fender was damaged by an unidentified white vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this hit and run is asked to call state police in Butler at 724-284-8100.Thursday — Someone contacted an unidentified 18-year-old woman of Center Township and told her she had won money. To collect the money, she agreed to give the caller her checking account number and routing number to deposit the money into her account. On Sunday the woman noticed her checking account was missing about $6,000.11 a.m. Thursday — Kevin M. Miller, 24, of Butler was cited for throwing empty beer cans onto property along Boole Road in Concord Township.11 p.m. Saturday — Susan C. Meals, 47, of Emlenton was arrested for driving under the influence following a crash on Route 268 in Armstrong County. Meals, who was driving a Chevrolet Corsica, crossed the center line into the path of a vehicle driven by Joel M. Bernard, 17, of Parker. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.Saturday — Someone between 2 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday damaged a camper parked on Staff Road in Brady Township. The glass door and side of the camper owned by John W. Hogle, 32, of Pittsburgh were damaged.Saturday — Someone between 4 and 11 a.m. entered the home of Joseph M. Yeager, 20, in Pine Glenn Apartments in Slippery Rock Township and stole two Sony PlayStation II systems and about 30 DVDs while Yeager was sleeping. The value of the stolen property is about $600.4:45 a.m. Saturday — Someone smashed the bedroom window of Jamie M. Greig, 20, in Pine Glenn Apartments in Slippery Rock Township with a rock and then fled. Damage was valued at $200.5:45 a.m. Sunday — Jeffrey Helbig, 19, of Beaver Falls was driving a vehicle in Muddy Creek Township when he lost control of it and struck a concrete barrier of a bridge. His vehicle rolled onto its roof.
4:39 p.m. Sunday — An unnamed juvenile female driver from Grove City pulled her car in front of a motorcycle driven by William Bailey, 300 Oak St., Grove City, at Route 208 and North Liberty Road in Pine Township. Bailey was taken by helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with major injuries. His condition is not known. The investigation into the accident continues.
2:53 a.m. Monday — Someone used a cement block to break a glass door and take about 10 cartons of Newport cigarettes from the TicToc Store on Route 65 in Slippery Rock Township.Thursday — Rebecca Linn Reese, 18, of Harmony, was charged with possessing drug paraphernalia on West Lancaster Road in Perry Township.
