Paytas 50th anniversary
Albert and Dorothy Paytas of Renfrew will celebrate 50 years of marriage Friday. Afamily dinner in their honor is planned Sunday and a picnic is planned in July.
The former Dorothy Veselich married Paytas on April 14, 1956, at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Lawrenceville.
They have four children, Kathy Paytas, Bill Paytas and Donna Friel, all of Renfrew, and Patty Paytas of Pittsburgh.
They also have three grandchildren.
Paytas is retired from Armco, where he was a steelworker. He currently works as a farmer and is a member of the Meridian Veterans Club.
Mrs. Paytas works as a caregiver at Colonial Gardens Nursing Home.
The couple belongs to St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, where Mrs. Paytas is a member of the Christian Mothers.
