Monday — Police reported two men were arrested in connection with separate sexual assaults last week.Jeffrey Stowers, 45, of Etna, Allegheny County is accused of assaulting an unidentified juvenile, who filed a complaint March 10. Police and the Butler County Children and Youth Services agency investigated the case.Police on Friday charged Stowers with indecent assault.Meanwhile, William Swisher, 33, of Butler is accused of fondling another man Jan. 14 while the alleged victim was staying with the defendant at his then West New Castle Street home.Police on March 29 charged Swisher with indecent assault.

11:45 a.m. Tuesday — An unidentified Chevrolet Tahoe driven by an unknown man struck a Jeep Grand Cherokee backing out of a parking space at the Nextel Bank lot on Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township, and did not stop following the crash. Maria Markwell, 30, of Saxonburg was driving the Jeep.7:10 a.m. Monday — Three people were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Route 268 near Ridge Road in Fairview Township.The crash occurred when a sport utility vehicle driven by a 17-year-old East Brady girl, who police did not identify, collided with a tractor-trailer driven by Timmy Lee Shepard, 40, of Chicora. The collision forced the SUVinto a truck driven by Robert King, 60, of Kittanning.King, the girl and a 12-year-old boy riding in the SUV, all wearing seat belts, suffered minor injuries.10:36 a.m. Thursday — Apickup truck driven by Robert McGinnis, 71, of Chicora and a PennDOTtruck driven by William Singer, 60, of Hilliards collided on Route 38 near Blair Road in Venango Township. McGinnis, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries.8:12 p.m. March 8 — Acar driven by Joyce Barnes, 39, of West Sunbury crashed on Hooker Road near Fir Road in Fairview Township. Barnes and two passengers, Rita Hile, 45, and Bethany Smith, 13, both of Karns City, suffered minor injuries; no one was wearing a seat belt. Barnes was cited for driving too fast for conditions.March 27 — An iPod Nano was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at Associated Ceramics on North Pike Road in Winfield Township. Cory Brant of Butler owns the stolen property.12:30 a.m. March 24 — Joshua Blystone, no age given, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Saxonburg Road near Burtner Road in Jefferson Township.

6 p.m. Monday — Harry Lloyd, 53, of Templeton accidentally shot himself in the hand while cleaning a rifle at Route 66 home in Boggs Township, Armstrong County. He was treated for the gunshot wound at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known this morning.State Police, Mercer3:22 a.m. Tuesday — Avehicle driven by James Sands, no age given, of Guys Mills, Crawford County, struck several small trees along Jackson Center-Polk Road in Worth Township, Mercer County, and rolled onto its side.
