Zuccala 50th anniversary
Bruno and Jennie Zuccala of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage Friday. Afamily dinner is planned at Clifford's Restaurant in Connoquenessing to celebrate.
The former Jennie Chiavaro married Zuccala on April 7, 1956, at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have two children, Bruno Zuccala of Butler and Dominic Zuccala of Chelsea, Mich. They also have three grandchildren.Zuccala is a retired tailor. He is a member of the Butler Bocce Club, the Sons of Italy and the VFW. He also serves as an usher at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and is a volunteer with the Special Olympics and the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.Mrs. Zuccala is a retired clerk and nurse's aide.The couple belongs to St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
