Sarah Lunsford, daughter of Kevin Shaffer and Delana Lunsford of Zelienople, entered the delayed entry program of the Air Force on Nov. 3.Lunsford, a 2005 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, shipped to Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, on March 1.

Navy Lt. Cmdr. Kevin Healy, a 1989 graduate of Moniteau High School, has returned from a scheduled deployment while assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 87 aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt, homeported in Norfolk, Va.During deployment, Healy's unit launched 10,000 combat flights totaling 30,750 flight hours and provided surveillance, reconnaissance and close air support to ground forces in Iraq.Healy's squadron flies the F/A-18C Hornet, a single-seat, all-weather fighter and attack aircraft.Healy joined the Navy in May 1993.

Air Force Airman Charles Muehlbronner has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.Muehlbronner is the son of Charles and Nina Muehlbronner of Harrisville.He is a 1997 graduate of Slippery Rock High School.

Ryan VanHorn, son of David and Denise VanHorn of Templeton, entered the Air Force Delayed Entry Program on June 28, 2005.Van Horn, a 2005 graduate of Lenape Vocational-Technical School, shipped to basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, on March 14.

Nicholas Cypher, son of Cindy Cypher of Butler, entered the delayed entry program of the Air Force on Oct. 12, 2005, and shipped to basic training at Lackland Air Force Base on March 14.Cypher is a 2003 graduate of Knoch High School.
