Macurdy

Kelly Macurdy graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in psychology recently from Slippery Rock University.While at the university, she was named to Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities; the National Dean's List; the university's dean's list; and the Psi Chi, Phi Eta Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. She also served as the recording secretary for the Golden Key International Honor Society.A 2002 graduate of Butler High School, she is the daughter of David and Patricia Macurdy of Butler.Macurdy is currently employed as a counselor aide at the Ellen O'Brien Gaiser Addiction Center. She will pursue a master's degree in addiction counseling beginning in the fall at Slippery Rock University.
