BUTLERTWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:
David Clapper Jr., 25, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, careless driving, not using turn signals, following too closely to another vehicle, and failing to pull over for an emergency vehicle, filed Feb. 6 by Butler Township police.
David Domino, 40, of Indiana, Pa., waived to court charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license and driving too fast for conditions, filed Jan. 30 by Butler Township police.
Travis Hilliard, 20, of Butler waived to court seven counts of bad checks, filed Jan. 25 by Butler Township police.
Lindsey Keating, 20, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal mischief, filed Feb. 21 by Butler Township police. Keating was ordered to pay $453.50 in fines and court costs.
Kevin Randall Sr., 23, of Pittsburgh waived to court charges of terroristic threats and harassment, filed Oct. 31 by Butler Township police.
Kurt Szymanski, 31, of Saxonburg waived to court charges of DUI, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, filed Jan. 3 by state police.
SLIPPERY ROCK — The following cases were recently heard by District Judge Clifford Woessner:Kenneth Eugene McGallis, 52, of Slippery Rock had his case held for court. State police in Butler charged McGallis Nov. 21 with receiving stolen property and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.Michael K. Williams, 18, of Richeyville, Washington County, waived his case to court. Slippery Rock University Police charged Williams Feb. 15 with driving under the influence, minor prohibited from operating with alcohol in his system, careless driving and purchase of an alcoholic beverage by a minor.Tyler Stephen Cochran, 22, of Freeport waived his case to court. State police in Butler charged Cochran Feb. 21 with driving under the influence and careless driving.Leigh-Ann Vommaro, 23, of Slippery Rock waived her case to court. Slippery Rock police charged Vommaro Feb. 21 with driving under the influence and driving without headlights on.
WORTH TWP, Mercer County — The following cases were recently heard by District Judge Lawrence Silvis:JulieSue Daby, 38, of Grove City pleaded guilty to a charge of theft by unlawful taking filed by Grove City police Feb. 23.Paul Martin Pesek, 56, of Mercer had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged Pesek Feb. 13 with theft and conspiracy to commit theft.Derek John Hoffman, 24, of Grove City had his case held for court. Grove City Police charged Hoffman Feb. 17 with driving under the influence and duties at a stop sign.Brenda Leigh York, 45, of Clintonville had her case held for court. Grove City police charged York Feb. 12 with driving under the influence.
CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:James Cress, 44, of West Sunbury was held for court on charges of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, driving too fast for condition, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt, filed Jan. 13.Sean Geagan, 28, of West Sunbury waived to court charges of aggravated assault by a vehicle, DUI, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving on the wrong side of the road, driving too fast for conditions and reckless driving, filed Nov. 20.Thomas Kaplin, 19, of West Sunbury waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment filed Jan. 27; and in a separate case waived charges of forgery and conspiracy, filed Jan. 30.Tyrone Jackson Louis, 33, of West Sunbury waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed Feb. 26.Terry Snow, 48, of Hilliards, waived to court charges of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving, and not wearing a seat belt, filed Feb. 23.Braden Troutman, 32, of Petrolia was held for court on charges of DUI, driving too fast for conditions, driving on the wrong side of the road, and a lane violation, filed Dec. 29.Julie Walker, 36, of Chicora was held for court on charges of theft and conspiracy, filed Feb. 28.Richard William Wise, 43, of Chicora waived to court charges of DUI, a lane violation, and driving a vehicle with no rear lights, filed Feb. 23.
