Dorothy C. Wiles, 77, of Butler died at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 24, 1928, in Climax, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Harry Albert and Bernice C. Burford Reitz.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Chicora.

Surviving are a daughter, Janie Flis of Poland, Ohio; two sons, Barry Wiles of Butler and Allen Wiles of East Butler; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She also is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Ruby) Wray of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Allan (Shirley) Gilmore of East Brady.

Her husband, Floyd H. Wiles, whom she married Oct. 7, 1946, died Dec. 28, 2001. A brother and three sisters also preceded her in death.

WILES — Friends of Dorothy C. Wiles, who died Monday, Feb. 20, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. Randall Forester, officiating.
